Absentee or Early Mail Ballot:

Absentee Ballots: Applications and eligibility requirements for an absentee ballot are available on carmelschools.org,  

or by contacting Joanne Stevens, District Clerk, at 845-878-2094, ext. 201, or at jstevens@carmelschools.org. The application must be received by the District Clerk by May 13, 2025 (mail) or May 19,  2025 (in-person).  

Early-Mail Ballots: Voters who do not meet the absentee voter’s qualifications can request an Early-Mail ballot. The process and  

timelines are identical to absentee ballots as follows: Applications for an early-mail ballot are available on  

carmelschools.org, or by contacting Joanne Stevens, District Clerk, at 845-878-2094, ext. 201, or at jstevens@carmelschools. 

org. The application must be received by the District Clerk by May 13, 2025 (mail) or May 19, 2025 (in-person).  

All completed absentee and early-mail ballots must be received by the district clerk

at the CCSD Administrative Office by 5:00  p.m. on May 20, 2025.
